Born in Aden, as the daughter of a commercial pilot, extensive travel throughout the Middle East and Europe was very much a part of her early life. Upon finishing her education in England she chose to make Canada her home, and continued to travel and work throughout various communities here, including Resolute Bay in the High Arctic. A weekend trip to Vancouver Island was all it took to clearly see the lifestyle she would prefer to have. Now, 30 + years later, Karen is deeply committed to her business and personal associations in this beautiful city.

No stranger to building, Karen has overseen the building of both single family homes and multi-family dwellings from the purchase of a lot, to completion of the project; providing another layer of valuable knowledge that aids her clients whether buying, selling, or building.

Karen and her partner; David have a love for travel, outdoor adventure; hiking the West Coast Trail and into Cape Scott, being on the ocean and walking the family's dogs. Actively involved in the community, she is a Past President of the Victoria Real Estate board and and has served on a variety of boards and committees including The Capital Regional Growth Strategy, The Official Community Plan for Willis Point, The Official Community Plan for Central Saanich and is currently on the Professional Standards committee for the Victoria Real Estate Board.
